For Terry, a 73-year-old Reno resident and lifelong DIYer, keeping up with home repairs became challenging after retiring on a fixed income. Thanks to The Home Depot Foundation’s support and the dedication of Team Depot volunteers, Terry’s outdoor space was transformed—with overgrown vegetation cleared, debris removed, and new areas set aside for gardening and wood storage.

The project—featured in this short news highlight—demonstrates the impact that partnerships between local nonprofits and businesses can have, not just enhancing homes, but also strengthening community bonds.
