26 Households Served • 254 Repairs Completed
• A $100,000 Grant Awarded
In the third quarter of 2025, Rebuilding Together Northern Nevada (RTNNV) continued to advance our core mission: repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. From impactful corporate rebuilding days to a significant grant award, Q3 was a period of focused service and strategic growth.
By the Numbers
- 26 households received critical repairs this quarter, bringing our yearly total to 69 households served.
- 254 individual repairs completed, with an average project cost of $5,110 per household.
- Onboarded 4 new contractors and 2 new supply vendors to expand our capacity.
- Awarded a $100,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Savings Bank of San Francisco. This award allows us to continue our partnership with Greater Nevada Credit Union, the region's Federal Home Loan partner.
Understanding Our Neighbors
Our clients are at the heart of what we do. The demographics of those we served this quarter underscore the critical need for our services across Northern Nevada:
- 83% of homes served included older adults (60+ years).
- 74% included persons with disabilities.
- 30% were Extremely Low Income households.
- 57% lived in manufactured or mobile homes.
Mission Moments
This quarter, we were honored to partner with Home Depot and Wells Fargo for back-to-back Rebuilding Days. Volunteers brought safety, dignity, and renewed hope to neighbors in need through exterior clean-ups, garden boxes, shed installations, and structural renovations.
We also celebrated transformative projects for neighbors like Lynda and Keith in Fallon, who received a new HVAC system, toilet, and grab bars, and Suzette and Henry in Silver Springs, who now have a new ramp, secure door, and HVAC system. These stories are powerful reminders of our mission in action.
Expanding Our Rural Reach
As a sub-recipient of a HUD grant, RTNNV is expanding services to four rural counties (Churchill, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey). To date, this initiative has resulted in:
- 29 households served
- 231 repairs completed
- 9 projects currently in the pipeline
Looking Ahead
With 36 projects currently in our pipeline—from intake to work in progress—the demand for our services continues to grow. The recent $100,000 grant will be instrumental in building our operational effectiveness and expanding our community reach as we strive to create safe and healthy homes for everyone.
