25 Households Served • 217 Repairs Completed
• 28 Community Engagements
During the first quarter of 2026, Rebuilding Together Northern Nevada (RTNNV) continued to advance our core mission: repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. We focused our efforts on fostering safe and healthy environments for seniors, veterans, neighbors living with disabilities, and low-income families across our region.
By the Numbers
- 25 households received critical health and safety modifications this quarter.
- 217 individual repairs were successfully completed based upon our 25-Point Safe & Healthy Priorities Assessment.
- $6,058 average project cost invested per household to preserve local housing stock.
- Onboarded 4 new contractor engagements (including Juniper Ridge Construction, John Curran LLC, CAD Pest Control, and Titan HVAC) to strengthen our building capacity.
- Secured critical early-year funding from the Chase International Foundation ($2,000) and Friends To All ($1,500), with 5 additional grants currently pending.
Understanding Our Neighbors
At RTNNV, evaluating client demographics helps us allocate resources effectively where the need is most urgent. Our Q1 2026 data reflects the deep structural vulnerabilities facing local homeowners:
- 88% of homes served included older adults (60 years or older).
- 68% of households served were headed by women homeowners.
- 40% included persons living with disabilities.
- 40% of our projects were mobile or manufactured homes.
- 36% were Extremely Low Income households ($0–$22,500 annual income for a single-person household), with an overall average household income of $33,332.
- 12% of homes served belonged to veterans, and 12% to minority homeowners.
The aging housing stock is clear: the majority of homes served were built in the 1990s, with 1970s homes close behind. On average, our clients have resided in their homes for 24.24 years, making preservation essential to preventing displacement.
Operational Pipeline & Regional Reach
The demand for our services continues to expand rapidly across Northern Nevada. Our active project pipeline shows strong forward momentum as we head deeper into the year:
